A Valuable Experience: Beanstalks Drought Venture Studio Cohort 4

We’re pleased to share that Soner Bekir, Managing Director of ALGAESYS AU, has officially completed Cohort 4 of the Beanstalk Drought Venture Studio, running from September to November 2025.

Delivered by Beanstalk and supported by the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund, the Drought Venture Studio brings together innovators working to strengthen Australia’s drought resilience and support more sustainable agricultural systems. The program provides targeted mentoring, market intelligence, and industry engagement tailored to help emerging technologies scale their impact in drought-affected regions.

Soner’s participation reflects ALGAESYS’ growing focus on providing decentralised, sustainable wastewater solutions to the agribusiness sector. Throughout the program, he collaborated with experts, agricultural stakeholders, and fellow innovators to better understand the sector’s water challenges and where ALGAESYS’ technology can deliver the greatest value.

Completion of the Venture Studio marks an important milestone for ALGAESYS as we continue expanding our work across Australia and the Indo-Pacific, helping industries adopt resilient, low-energy and nature-based water treatment systems.
