ALGAESYS is looking to donate a significant number of Nazava Water Filters to a community project that could genuinely benefit from improved access to safe drinking water. If you know a community that could benefit, we'd love to hear from you.

Developed in partnership with Anglian Water's @one Alliance, the Bolnhurst facility has moved beyond construction and commissioning and is now operating as a municipal wastewater treatment plant, demonstrating the real-world application of ALGAESYS' algae-based treatment technology. 

We are proud to announce that our Wastewater Treatment Plant in Gingin has successfully achieved validation and verification from the Department of Health (DoH) marking a significant milestone in our Australian journey. 

OzWater 2026 was the biggest and boldest OzWater yet and we are proud to have attended this year! Our MD, Soner Bekir attended, for once not as an exhibitor, but as a facilitator and panellist.

Soner Bekir recently represented ALGAESYS AU on the SEABX Cambodia and Vietnam trade mission, where the focus was on exploring opportunities in the agribusiness sector and building relationships across Southeast Asia. Read about his experience here

ALGAESYS attended the Australian Water Association’s Connected by Water conference in Perth at the end of February. It was an invaluable opportunity to connect with water-sector professionals, share what we are building, and have practical conversations about fit-for-purpose reuse, discharge compliance, and the needs of regional and remote communities. What a weekend it was at the HSBC Perth 7s! ALGAESYS and friends enjoyed a weekend of fantastic hospitality at HBF Park. The event provided the perfect backdrop for engaging conversations about wastewater treatment and sustainable solutions, all whilst soaking up the electric atmosphere of one of rugby's premier tournaments.

It’s been a busy Christmas period for ALGAESYS as we continue our work in Gingin while prepping for the year ahead! February is a big month for us, with three different events around Australia, so here’s a quick update on what’s to come!

The Bolnhurst project with Anglian Water showcases ALGAESYS’ low-energy, nature-based wastewater treatment at utility scale. With construction now complete, the plant has entered hydraulic and biological commissioning, demonstrating a sustainable, phototrophic alternative to traditional treatment systems.
