Our Projects
Our Operational Plants
Gingin, Western Australia
Currently under supply and construction, this research plant will be used to demonstrate and obtain independent verification of the efficacy of our solution in Australia. This is the first incarnation of our new stainless-steel tank design incorporating the re-designed log material, allowing us to improve the mobility, speed of commissioning, durability and carbon-footprint of the solution.
Summit Lake Park, Indiana
In operation since 2014, the plant Summit Lake State Park in Indiana has been maintained and operated by the park rangers since it was commissioned and has consistently exceeded EPA requirements, despite them having been tightened. This was the first commercial build of our design, which has since been significantly upgraded to increase efficacy while reducing processing times and footprint.
This facility had a design capacity of 275 m3/d and replaced the 200 m3/d facility which you can see pictured on the left.
It took 12 weeks to build of which 3 weeks were for concrete curing.
POC/Research Projects
Need a project completing?
Book an appointment with us to discuss how ALGAESYS can improve your water management.
Kunshan, China
This was an 8-month project where a plant was set up as a research and development project to demonstrate that ALGAESYS effluent could be reused without further treatment to EU Class C Level.
Hopewell Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility, Virginia
Hopewell was an early trial for ALGAESYS, allowing us to demonstrate the system’s effective refractory and bio-inhibitory COD destruction and ammonia removal.
The influent water source was from a variety of different industrial uses and included some chemicals that proved hard to remove by traditional wastewater treatment processes.
Other Proof of Concepts
Other projects of note that we can disclose where ALGAESYS had been tested include a plant in Indiana, USA for Bell Aquaculture and in Lisbon, Portugal for a Brewery. Read more about these projects here.
